Snickers has introduced a twist on its chocolate nougat bar, launching a coffee-flavoured variant exclusively for the Australian market.
Snickers Coffee combines coffee-flavoured nougat with peanuts, caramel, and milk chocolate.
In addition, the chocolate bar is packaged in a kerbside-recyclable, paper-based wrapper as part of the brand’s sustainability commitment.
Chris Hutton, research and development director of Mars Wrigley, said the new flavour took two years and 13 prototypes to develop.
“We know how much Aussies love their coffee,” said Hutton.
“Snickers Coffee Flavour is a proudly Australian-made product formulated by our local team in Ballarat to deliver on taste and sustainability, and we can’t wait for fans to try it.”
The Snickers Coffee Flavour will launch at 7-Eleven stores this month, with a broader rollout to leading supermarkets, independent retailers, and convenience stores in February next year.
