Dubai-based specialty coffee chain Saddle Café has opened its first UK store in London’s Knightsbridge district.
Saddle Café Founder Mohammed Al Falasi said the move represents the coffee chain’s commitment to sharing exceptional Arabian coffee on the international stage.
“I’m delighted to be launching Saddle Café in London. This expansion represents a significant milestone in Saddle Café’s journey and signifies its commitment to sharing its passion for exceptional coffee on an international stage. London is one of the world’s most exciting and cosmopolitan cities, and we can’t wait to serve our specialty coffee in an elevated and welcoming setting,” he said.
Founded in 2017 as a food truck serving specialty coffee and food to-go, Saddle Café has grown to 14 outlets across the UAE.
The UK is Saddle Café’s second international market with its London store following hot on the heels of the brand’s France debut, where it opened an outlet in Cannes in August 2023.
Saddle Café becomes the third Emirati branded coffee chain currently operating in the UK’s 9,900-store branded coffee shop market, after Coffee Planet and Filli, which operate single sites in Cardiff and London respectively.
Dubai-based Saddle Café is also expected to open its first store in Saudi Arabia before the end of 2023.
