Miracle Coffee is set to open its long-awaited flagship outlet in Singapore on 6 December 2023, at the same site where it set up a pop-up café kiosk 15 months ago.

Founded in 2017 by Singaporean singer JJ Lin, Miracle Coffee opened its first store in Taipei in 2017 and currently operates five outlets across Taiwan and China.

In September 2022, Miracle Coffee launched a 90-day pop-up café kiosk at the ArtScience Museum in Singapore’s Marina Bay Sands as a prelude to a bricks-and-mortar debut. Due to popular demand, the coffee chain extended its temporary presence at the museum into 2023.

Miracle Coffee’s flagship outlet has been designed by Singaporean design firm Parable Studio, which designed the brand’s first Taiwan site and temporary ArtScience Museum café.

The coffee chain will also unveil The Miracle Lab at its flagship opening, which it describes as a sharing platform to facilitate conversations around coffee and innovation. The first edition of the series will feature three local coffee roasters – Equate, Glyph and Homeground – to discuss roasting techniques, brewing methods and sustainability practices.

“I am truly thankful for everyone’s support for Miracle Coffee over the past year. We hope Miracle Coffee will be a vibrant hub for coffee lovers to revel in the wonders of coffee and innovation. Through The Miracle Lab, we are excited to bring coffee culture to the next level by introducing cross genre collaborations with unique communities from time to time,” said JJ Lin.

World Coffee Portal research shows there were 12 new market entrants to the Singaporean branded coffee shop market over the last 12 months, including Luckin Coffee, Kopi Kenangan and Tim Hortons

Currently standing at more than 870 outlets, the Singaporean branded coffee shop market is forecast to reach 1,250 outlets within five years.
