Atomo Opens New Roastery in Seattle to Produce Its Beanless Coffee for Cafes Around the U.S.
Seattle-based coffee maker Atomo is celebrating Earth Day with the opening of a new roastery in its hometown, capable of producing 90 million cups of coffee per year, and will partner with coffee shops around the US to serve its beanless coffee grounds, which are made from a molecular concoction derived from sustainable, upcycled plant waste ingredients and generate 83% less carbon emissions and use 70% less farmland compared to conventional coffee.
