Coach Brews Up Buzz With New Coffee Spot at Glendale Tanger Outlets

Glendale is about to get a caffeine hit with a side of luxury. Coach is bringing its Coach Coffee Shop concept to Tanger Outlets Phoenix, marking the café’s Arizona debut and giving outlet shoppers a branded place to fuel up between bargain hunts.

Menu and merch

The outlet café is set to pour specialty coffees, roll out a matcha collection, and stock pastries, along with exclusive Coach-themed merch aimed at quick grab-and-go stops and social-media-friendly moments. According to ABC15, Coach Coffee Shop already has locations in Texas, New Jersey, New York and California.

Coach Blend and partners

Coach’s own site notes the brand has teamed up with Stumptown to create a signature Coach Blend and already lists “Tanger Phoenix” among its Coach Coffee Shop locations. Per Coach, the blend features tasting notes of milk chocolate, toffee and blood orange, and it is available only at Coach Coffee Shop outposts.

Why the brand is opening cafés now

Industry coverage indicates Coach is leaning into outlet-mall cafés as a way to keep shoppers hanging around longer and to appeal to younger customers who want a place to sit, sip and scroll. Business of Fashion reported that the brand expects to open more than 20 cafés in the next year as part of a broader rollout, with each spot designed to blend drinks, merchandise and a diner-meets-influencer aesthetic.

Timing and details

An official opening date has not been released yet, and local reports say the timeline is still to be determined. ABC15 notes the opening is still listed as TBA, while Coach includes the new Phoenix entry with an internal space number, a small inconsistency that shows up across its café listings.

For now, Phoenix-area shoppers can simply count on a Coach-branded coffee option landing inside the outlet center. Both Coach and Tanger Outlets are expected to share the official opening details on their own channels once the date is locked in.
