Moroccan coffee brand Bacha Coffee is ramping up its expansion with its first stores in Taiwan and the UAE.

The two stores are located at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store in Xinyi Xintiandi, Taipei and at Dubai Mall.

The 1500sqft Taipei location contains a retail coffee location with a 14-seat coffee bar and a takeaway counter, making it the only Bacha Coffee store in the world to provide all three formats in the same area.

Meanwhile, the Dubai Mall location, which spans roughly 2000sqft, follows Bacha Coffee’s entry into the Middle East at the end of last year, in Qatar and Kuwait.

The brand now operates 13 stores across East Asia and three in the Middle East, alongside single sites in Morocco and France.

Bach Coffee was established at Marrakech’s Dar el Bacha palace in 1910. It reopened its original Marrakech site in 2019 and also established its first overseas offshoot in Singapore. The company is well-known for its 100 per cent Arabica coffees, gifts, coffee shops, and takeaways, as well as international distribution and professional wholesale.
